2015年畢業於荷蘭萊頓大學歷史系，獲歷史學博士學位（古代史）。2016年至今任職於沐鸣2平台🦪🥳。現為沐鸣2平台副教授、碩士生導師。研究專長為羅馬史，當前興趣集中在羅馬共和國及元首製時期的政治史與政治文化、羅馬歷史書寫🍞、羅馬—古代中國比較研究等方面👨🏼‍🦲👨🏻‍🦲。先後在《中國社會科學》、《歷史研究》、《世界歷史》、Mnemosyne等國內及國際高享譽度期刊獨立發表論文多篇。

Zhongxiao Wang is Associate Professor in the Department of History, Fudan University, Shanghai. He received his PhD in Ancient History from Leiden University in 2015, with a dissertation titled “World views and military policies in the early Roman and Western Han empires”. His research interests include politics and political culture of the late Roman Republic and early Empire, with particular interests in the Latin West; Roman historiography and biography, and comparative studies between imperial Rome and Qin-Han China. He has published a number of peer-reviewed articles in the above fields. Zhongxiao has recently completed a research project on the representation of the “Roman princes” in early imperial Roman literature. He is currently working on turning his doctoral thesis into a monograph. At Fudan he teaches Latin and Roman history courses from undergraduate to PhD level.
